Local Change awards the following scholarships:

Don E. Neuburger Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 to $5,000Thompson School District high school seniors who are applying/accepted at any college or university.
Wm. C. "Bill" Sterner Memorial Scholarship$1,000 to $5,000Colorado high school seniors who are applying/accepted at the University of Colorado Boulder.
M.R. Hellie Memorial Scholarship$1,000 to $5,000Colorado high school seniors who are applying/accepted at any college or university.
The Buffs4Life 2nd Gen Scholarship$1,000 to $5,000Colorado high school seniors who are applying/accepted at any college or university and are the offspring of former athletic letter winners at the University of Colorado.
The Bennett Family Trade School Scholarship$2,000Colorado high school seniors who are applying/accepted at an accredited trade school.
Popenhagen Community Service Scholarship$1,000 to $5,000Thompson School District high school seniors who are applying/accepted at an accredited 2-year or trade school program.


NOTE REGARDING FINANCIAL NEED: Local Change scholarships include consideration of an applicant's financial need. While all may apply, please be aware that priority will go to students with the greatest financial need. 

NOTE REGARDING DACA STUDENTS: We accept the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) in place of the FAFSA from students with DACA status.
